Location?

We discussed have two gatherings: one in the twin cities on Friday night of the reunion and another on campus on Saturday. Thoughts?

I would suggest somewhere quiet but of course social like the depot for example. A place where people can eat drink and have fun without shouting over one another all night.

I've contacted Chino Latino, Cafe Luxx, Market BBQ, and Bonfire (on Grand).

I have contacted Britts pub. They have two levels plus the rooftop so plenty of space and good atmosphere.

Britts is $7500 minimum for drinks and food. It can hold about 200 people.

Good news -- we can accept sponsorships but not as advertising. For instance, if Company ABC gave $1,000 to sponsor the 2002 Homecoming Luncheon, we could list "Sponsored by Company ABC" in the schedule and also on a sign at the event.

Hello! This is what I heard from the Alumni Office about Alumni-owned places in the Twin Cities: "We don't have much information in the database relating to this. The
only restaurants that I know of that are owned by a Gustie are Ciao
Bella, 3501 Minnesota Drive, Bloomington MN 55435 and Zelo and Bacio Restaurants, 831 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis MN 55402 all owned by Rick
Webb '73. "

Thoughts on these (Ciao Bella, Zelo & Bacio)? Would they be fitting to even contact?
