How about the good old "Battle of the Sexes" theme and pit the men against the women? Whichever gender has the highest average contribution gets some sort of prize. I'm thinking something along the lines of if the women contribute more, the men have to provide Homecoming flowers (insert other gift here)for each gal or get VIP treatment for the reunion. Just throwing things out there/thinking aloud to get the ball rolling.
